Dear Diary,
I read this article earlier this month and I do seem to be having more dreams than usual and some really weird ones.
Or maybe during the Movement Control Order (MCO) we have more time to recall our dreams.
By the way, if you are a blood donor, please step forward as we need to top up the blood bank.
Here’s how Day 41 of MCO unfolded.
8.35am: EASING RESTRICTIONS – Italy will allow factories and building sites to re-open from May 4. Professional sports teams can also start training next month. In Spain, up to three children at a time can go to the streets for one hour a day with one parent or adult supervisor. They can’t use playground equipment or mingle with playmates or friends.
9.11am: MIND YOUR MANNERS – Beijing bans “uncivilised” behaviour – not covering the mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing – to improve public hygiene.
10.34am: THE TRUMP EFFECT – US President Donald Trump has said his comments about using disinfectant to treat coronavirus were “sarcastic” but some state and local health authorities say they are seeing a rise in poisonings and warn the effects can be deadly.
10.48am: MOVE IT – Since my MiBand 3 stopped working just before MCO, I was wondering how many steps I take per day. This is very inaccurate since I don’t carry my phone for 24 hours but a good reminder I need to move more!
11.03am: PURE EVIL – This tweet was from yesterday but it got plenty of retweets today. Some people can be cruel.

12.01pm: ENTITLED – A Texas mayor has been forced to apologise after getting caught breaking her own stay-at-home order by getting a nail salon to open just for her.
1pm: MANGO MANIA – Another recipe for buka puasa.
1.43pm: PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT – Journalist Lee Seng Foo wanted to get a travel permit but was kicked out of a police station for “improper attire” – he was in shorts, slippers and no face mask. What’s worse, he lined up for an hour before being told he was not dressed properly. Why couldn’t someone have said something earlier?
2pm: BLOOD NEEDED – Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob says blood donors will be allowed to make trips to hospitals or health clinics between 10am and 10pm. This comes after a drop in blood stock.
He also reveals the National Disaster Management Agency will coordinate travel arrangements for those who have completed their compulsory 14-day quarantine but will not be paying for the trips.
3.32pm: NOT ECONOMICAL
4.33pm: GETTING BETTER – Another 95 patients have been discharged, taking the number of those cured to 3,957 or 68 per cent. There are 40 new cases, bringing the total to 5,820. Sadly one new death takes fatalities to 99.
Meanwhile, Singapore confirmed 799 new Covid-19 cases, taking the total count to 14,423, the third highest in Asia behind China and India.
5pm: ALL I HAVE TO DO IS DREAM – It’s the Everly Brothers today.
