KL Kopites, the Official Liverpool Supporters Club, will organise the ‘EPL Champions 2025 Liverpool FC Bus Parade’ on May 31, with the grand prize being a ticket to watch the Reds take on arch-rivals Manchester United at Anfield next season.

The match ticket will be the main prize in a lucky draw. Other prizes include signed jerseys by former Liverpool players Harry Kewell and Lucas Leiva.

KL Kopites president, Sashidaran Nair, said the club wanted to do something special to mark Liverpool’s latest title triumph. The last time the team lifted the league trophy, fans were confined to their homes due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

“We were robbed of a chance to celebrate the 2020 title win. We feel this would be a great way to make up for it,” said Sashidaran.

“There will be DJs, great music, and fantastic prizes up for grabs – including a matchday ticket to watch Liverpool play Manchester United in the 2025-2026 season.

“The double-decker bus will be fully wrapped in Liverpool’s colours and parked at Dataran 3 Two Square from noon to 7pm. Fans can take photos with a replica of the Premier League trophy on top of the bus.”

Tickets are priced at RM40 for KL Kopites members, RM50 for non-members, and RM20 for children under 12. All registered participants will receive a door gift.

“We’re capping attendance at 800 to ensure everyone gets a chance to hop on the bus and take photos,” said Sashidaran.

“Those who register will be eligible for the lucky draw, even if they’re not present during the draw.

“We don’t expect everyone to stay for the entire event. As long as you’ve paid, you won’t miss out. We’ll contact you if you win.”

Meanwhile, heading into the penultimate match of the season, Newcastle could overtake Arsenal and move into second place if it beats the Gunners in London on May 18 (11.30pm).

Arsenal has held second spot for most of the season, but a poor run – six points from their last five games – has allowed Newcastle to close the gap.

As it stands, Liverpool have an unassailable lead with 83 points, followed by Arsenal (68) and Newcastle (66).

Trailing them are Chelsea (66), Aston Villa (66), Manchester City (65), and Nottingham Forest (62). Only the top five clubs will qualify for the Champions League.
