The Yang di-Pertuan Agong hopes that more health and rehabilitation centres will be opened in the country to enable Malaysians to benefit from such services.
His Majesty Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah said this at the launch of the WQ Park Health and Rehabilitation Centre in Indera Mahkota, Kuantan, yesterday.
Also present were the Raja Permaisuri Agong, Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah, and the Regent of Pahang, Tengku Mahkota Tengku Hassanal Ibrahim Alam Shah.
Al-Sultan Abdullah arrived at the centre at 11am and was greeted by Pahang Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail, Pahang police chief Datuk Yahaya Othman, and WQ Park Health and Rehabilitation Centre managing director Datuk Seri Dr Zulkharnain Ismail.
In his speech, Al-Sultan Abdullah said the centre, the first in Pahang, and the fifth in the country, will help people from all ages and walks of life.
Besides incorporating the latest technology for treatment, WQ Park also offers the WQSenses Park treatment for children with disabilities.
