Those intending to use this year’s Merdeka logo for a commercial, or an advertising-related initiative, must use it complete with the theme.
The logo, based on the concept of Wifi, has the hashtag Keluarga Malaysia (Malaysian Family) and the words Teguh Bersama (standing strong together) below it.
A spokesman from the Information Department of Malaysia said the public are encouraged to use the logo, but it must be used in full, complete with the words.
A guideline to the usage of this year’s logo is available on Merdeka360.my.
The website also provides a detailed explanation of the theme, colours used, font sizes, and the rationale for the logo.
