One year on Hannah revisits book dream

Exactly a year ago, lawyer and Twentytwo13 columnist Hannah Kam launched her book ‘How I Co-Founded an NGO’.

Commemorating the first anniversary of her achievement, she speaks to two individuals – Angela Brooks and Steven Shorthose – who played a vital role during her early years en route to inspiring her to write the book.

Brooks has taught English at the Alice Smith School in Kuala Lumpur since 2002. She met Hannah in 2006 when Hannah was in Year 9 class.

Shorthose has lived in Malaysia for 22 years and worked at Garden International School and Alice Smith School, where he was Hannah’s Head of Year. He is the founder of INtuition, a tuition centre in Mt Kiara.

Here is a recent conversation between the trio about Hannah’s milestone.

‘How I Co-Founded an NGO’ is available at MPH stores nationwide or via Google Play Store.
