WHAT BREACH, ASKS MUHYIDDIN
Muhyiddin says he is cancer-free, so there is no question of him breaching a 14-day home quarantine order to seek treatment overseas as alleged by Sarawak Report.
The Prime Minister’s Office issued a statement with copies of letters from doctors who found no evidence of a recurrence of pancreatic cancer for which he underwent surgery in 2018.
ISA STILL FACES NINE CHARGES
Former Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar Tan Sri Mohd Isa Abdul Samad is not scot-free despite being acquitted of a criminal breach of trust charge involving the purchase of a hotel in Sarawak.
That’s because the High Court has ordered him to enter his defence on nine charges of graft involving RM3 million over the said purchase.
HANNAH UNDER PROBE
Bukit Aman is investigating former Deputy Women, Family and Community Development Minister Hannah Yeoh over a tweet in March, expressing concern for the national roadmap to combat child marriage with the appointment of a PAS MP as deputy minister.

Yeoh is being investigated under Section 505 of Penal Code and Section 233 of Communications & Multimedia Act 1998. Those found guilty under Section 505 can be jailed up to two years and/or fined.
PAULSEN – FROM HERO TO ZERO
The Communications and Multimedia Ministry said lawyer Eric Paulsen is no longer a member of its Consultative Council.
Ironically, a year ago, Paulsen was praised by Wisma Putra when he was appointed the Malaysian representative to the Asean Intergovernmental Commission on Human Rights.
The foreign minister then was Datuk Saifuddin Abdullah, who is now Communications and Multimedia Minister.
RECORD 333 PATIENTS DISCHARGED
It’s not all grim political news as a record 333 Covid-19 patients were discharged today. There are only 651 active cases left. Fatalities remain at 121.
