The countdown has begun for the highly-anticipated Sport Integrity Week, set to take place from Sept 2-9 in various cities worldwide.
After two fully-digital editions in 2020 and 2021, followed by the first post-Covid-19 in-person event in 2022, the fourth edition will be held in a brand-new multi-site format, with the in-person, hybrid, and digital elements hosted by SIW partners from around the globe, to revolutionise the sport thought leadership landscape.
Sport Integrity Global Alliance (SIGA) chief executive officer, Emanuel Macedo de Medeiros (main image, standing) said Sport Integrity Week 2023 will be a fantastic celebration of sport’s positive values, and a game-changer for sport integrity.
“SIGA is mobilising worldwide support from partners, who are showing commitment to our reform agenda. They are committed to make a difference,” said de Medeiros.
“At #SIW2022, more than 250 in-person global leaders, and over 1,000 participants came together. This year’s edition will be even bigger and better.”
He said that this was a truly unique global thought leadership event with a clear mission at its core: to unite and mobilise the global sporting industry, share best practices, and deliver solutions to the increasingly complex challenges facing the industry, safeguarding its integrity and long-term, sustainable development.
“I call on all like-minded organisations and Sport Integrity champions to join us and be a part of the most impactful Sport Integrity Week ever!”
