When will atrocities against Palestinians in Gaza end?

The United States, Britain, the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (Nato), and America’s allies in the Middle East have condemned Hamas for allegedly triggering the latest Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

They have, however, continuously overlooked the fact that it is Israel’s regime that has illegally occupied, and imprisoned Palestinians – both Muslims and Christians – in Gaza.

These countries sanctioned the occupation and the daily atrocities perpetrated by Israeli ‘terrorists’ – turning a blind eye to the incursions, kidnapping of children, killing of Palestinians, the demolition of homes, and confiscating Palestinian lands.

The United Nations (UN) could only issue resolutions against Israel’s atrocities, which were promptly vetoed by the US and Britain. Whatever sanctions passed by the UN General Assembly have been totally ignored by Israel, as it is protected by the US, Britain, and their allies.

It is crystal clear that these countries are in cahoots with Israel to annihilate the Palestinian people, raze Gaza to the ground, annex it as part of a greater Israel, and erase the Palestinian people from history.

The American/Jewish-controlled print and electronic media have slanted their reporting on the conflict to create the perception that Israel is the victim, the aggrieved party, and Hamas, a terrorist organisation.

They conveniently overlooked the fact that Israel has illegally occupied Palestine lands and imprisoned them, inflicting untold atrocities on civilians. Does the world, specifically, America, Britain, Nato, Canada, Australia, and some Asian countries, expect the Palestinians – whose lands have been occupied, and its people imprisoned, tortured, and killed – to remain docile and submissive?

Enslaved people, when pushed against the wall, will do anything to regain their lands, freedom, and independence. Israel, the Americans, and their cohorts have pushed Hamas and the Palestinians to retaliate.

Israel has caused untold carnage in the past 70 years of illegal occupation, aided by the US and Britain, and in connivance with the UN – a world body that supposedly protects the sovereignty of nations, civil liberties, and justice for their people.

The UN seems partial towards America and its cohorts, evidenced by Israel spurning all UN resolutions against it. It also appears to be biased.

US President Joe Biden unequivocally supports Israel in this conflict and will finance, with American taxpayers’ money, military hardware to Israel.

Biden recently flew to Israel under the pretext of trying to resolve the conflict, when he is, in fact, there to lend moral and materiel support to ensure the annihilation of the Palestinian people.

Anthony Blinken, the US Secretary of State, is also roving around the Middle East, ostensibly to diffuse the conflagration. It is nothing more than a ruse to create a false pretense for the consumption of the gullible Arab leaders, and to play for time, to allow the Israeli terrorists to achieve their objective of annihilating the Palestinians.

The latest atrocity is the bombing of the al-Ahli Arabi Hospital in Gaza,  which killed more than 800 civilians, including patients and children. A representative from Gaza’s Health Ministry said the hospital was bombed as part of an Israeli air strike on Tuesday. Israel however, said a Palestinian rocket barrage had caused the destruction.

Biden, the following day, backed Israel’s assertion that a Palestinian group was responsible.

Israel is a cowardly nation, flexing its might against the helpless and defenceless Palestinian civilians and children. The Palestinians cannot fight a war on equal terms with Israel. It just doesn’t have the military capability.

Israel however, when confronted with such a situation, would call upon its American allies to fight its wars. Britain, France, and other Nato countries would come to its aid by way of military hardware, funding, or by throwing moral support – condemning Israel’s adversaries.

America, Britain, and their supporters could have resolved the Israeli-Palestinian conflict by instituting the two-state solution.

But America chooses not to do it, as it is in its DNA to create wars and promote regime change against nations that oppose its hegemonic interests. This was seen in Iraq, Vietnam, the Korean peninsula, Afghanistan, and Syria. Yet, the US was roundly defeated in Vietnam and Afghanistan, and had to evacuate in a hurry to save face.

Against adversaries that could match its military power like Russia or China, the US uses proxies like Ukraine to fight its battles.

There is no light at the end of the tunnel if America decides that it is in its best interests to continue this Israeli-Palestinian conflict and to destabilise the Middle East, to serve its military and economic agenda.

The US and its cohorts will continue to aid and encourage Israel to massacre the Palestinians until Gaza is razed to the ground, until there is no Palestinian left standing. This is the diabolical objective of Israel, America, Britain, and their liked-minded supporters.
