The largest global sports media property in Asian history, ONE Championship (ONE), is the latest company to support Twentytwo13’s Sila Lari, Jangan Duduk Fun Run 2018 at Padang Merbok this Sunday.
ONE’s next Malaysian event – ONE: Destiny of Champions – takes place at Axiata Arena on December 7.
As such, the company is giving out 20 pairs of Category Three tickets worth RM70 each and a pair of VIP tickets worth RM390 each towards the fun run’s lucky draw.
Organised by news website Twentytwo13, the 5km run is supported by the Federal Territory Kuala Lumpur Athletics Association (FTKLAA), F&N Beverages, Kuckreja & Co, Mesuma Sports Sdn Bhd, Asiana.my, TrueStart Coffee and Genesis Healthcare Group.
The name of the run is a play of words on what Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Muhammad V, who had just before officiating the Dewan Rakyat session after the change in government, said: “Sila duduk, jangan lari”, referring to the opposition MPs who staged a walkout a day earlier.
Sila Lari, Jangan Duduk Fun Run 2018 also received support from Istana Negara, which is sending several runners from its welfare and sports club.
“Mixed martial arts has a big following in Malaysia and ONE is the biggest player in this region. We at Twentytwo13 are humbled that such a reputable sporting brand has agreed to support our event,” said Twentytwo13 managing editor Pearl Lee.
“In total, we will have about 40 prizes for our lucky draw. These include limited edition hockey sticks, official merchandise from next year’s Rugby World Cup and electrical products.
“This would not have been possible without the goodwill and support of our friends such as ONE. Thank you.”
