Blackpink to perform in KL in March 2023

Blackpink fans in Malaysia are in for a treat, as the K-pop group is scheduled to perform in Kuala Lumpur, early next year.

Twentytwo13 was informed that the concert will be held on March 4, 2023, at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil.

This news website, on June 16, first reported about Blackpink’s scheduled concert next year, as the National Stadium undergoes repair and refurbishment work.

The gig in Malaysia is part of Blackpink’s “largest world tour in the history of a K-pop girl group”.

Blackpink is also scheduled to release a new album next month, and will announce the dates of its world tour soon.

The group performed in the country for the first time in 2019. The concert was held over two days (Feb 23 and Feb 24) at Stadium Malawati in Shah Alam.

Kuala Lumpur will play host to some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry in weeks and months to come.

Among the stars who will be in town are award-winning singer Billie Eilish (Aug 18), Keshi (Dec 3) and Jay Chou (Jan 15, 2023).

Justin Bieber was scheduled to perform on Oct 25, but this is now unconfirmed after the Canadian singer postponed the rest of his North American tour due to his ongoing battle with Ramsay Hunt syndrome.
