Persona Energy Sdn Bhd and Yayasan Raja Muda Selangor, on Aug 25, launched the Technology Transfer Apprenticeship Programme (TTAP) that will see five young technicians from Selangor receiving training from Porsche.
The technicians will undergo training with the luxury car manufacturer for six months during the 2023 Porsche Carrera Cup Asia Championship.
The event was graced by Raja Muda Selangor, Tengku Amir Shah. He was joined by TTAP programme founder, Jazeman Jaafar.
The partnership between Persona Energy and Yayasan Raja Muda Selangor is to show that Selangor youths can excel in the automotive industry via a system developed in collaboration with Porsche Motorsport Asia Pacific.
It is also part of an on-going commitment to develop a future-proof workforce and to encourage a sustainable ecosystem in the industry.
Rounds Nine and 10 of the 2023 Porsche Carrera Cup Asia Championship were held on Aug 25-27 at the Sepang International Circuit, while Rounds 11 and 12 will be held at the Marina Bay Street Circuit in Singapore from Sept 15-17. Rounds 13 and 14 will be held in Shanghai from Oct 20-22.
